It is the Company’s policy to be environmentally aware in all respects. We shall follow the procedure outlined below as far as is practicable and relevant to each particular site: 1. Follow any instruction given by the Client/Engineer/Main Contractor. 2. Minimise wastage and the consumption of resources such as materials, fuel and energy i.e. switch off generators, compressors and other powered plant when not in use. 3. Reduce or eliminate the pollution of the surrounding environment i.e. dispose of wasted material and containers in the appropriate manner (licensed tips etc). Do not allow materials to enter watercourses or contaminate the surrounding land. 4. Any material which requires special dumping arrangements i.e. dispose of wasted material and containers in the appropriate manner (licensed tips etc). Do not allow materials to enter watercourses or contaminate the surrounding land. 5. Reduce noise in the area as far as is practicable by using the supplied silencers with tools and using sound barriers if required. |
