Structure Water Ingress or Egress
-
Pikehaven Limited provides and carries out solutions for water ingress problems into and from any masonry structure.
These can include
- Joints (cracks, day or construction joints, movement joints)
- Internal tanking systems (multicoat cementitious renders)
- Active leak sealing (accelerated additives or mortars) to porous or honeycombed areas, joints or holes.
- Pipes or protrusions through the structure
to combat both positive and negative water pressure.
The two main methods used by Pikehaven Limited for waterproofing are:
- Extensive, thorough mechanical surface preparation and application of internal multicoat cementitous renders with active leak sealing where required

- Injection of flexible, open and closed cell polyurethane resins into joints, cracks or honeycombed areas under pressure using specialist high pressure single or multi component pumps.
A combination of these methods can be used in severe cases.
