Pikehaven Limited is an approved contractor of London Underground Limited and has worked directly and through the ‘Extended Arm Contractors’ regularly operating within LUL. Varied operations have been carried in depots, stations and on track structures including concrete repair and coatings, maintenance shed floor renewals and waterproofing to station buildings, underground tunnels and track structures. Our operatives are always specifically trained for the tasks and locations they are carrying out which generally include:
All employees are trained and certified in the use of all materials and plant by the manufacturers or CITB approved providers. Materials used are all approved for use in the chosen environments within the underground including Section 12 where appropriate. We work closely with manufacturers such as SBD, Sika, Fosroc, Ronacrete, Contar and others to ensure the best solution is achieved within the constraints of location, budget and contract programme. Plant is always checked and tested and carries current PAT test certification. Recent contracts include: Neasden Depot Wash Shed Floor Renewal  Removal of worn and acid damaged 70mm cementitious screed, re-location of water supply and drainage services and manholes, substrate preparation and application of chemical resistant, non-slip cementitious and epoxy screeds and coatings. Various Stations Concrete repairs - repair of spalling concrete to beams and columns. Floor repairs - emergency repairs to platforms and station structures during nightime possessions Waterproofing - tunnel joint injection and tanking to station rooms |
